Q12) The most widely documented danger to construct validity is evaluation apprehension, a human inclination to want to seem better or dread of being judged. Evaluation apprehension theory says that social facilitation happens when other people make you worry about being judged, not just because they are there. During the experiment, the people taking part may feel nervous, as if they are afraid of doing poorly. A key aspect of social facilitation is evaluation apprehension. 
Even though social loafing and fear of being judged may be part of the problem, the biggest reason why brainstorming in person is less effective is that the presence of people in the room makes it harder to come up with ideas and present them. When a member at a conventional meeting has a great idea to present but is hesitant to do so, this is called evaluation apprehension. The individual may not feel comfortable talking at a meeting, or they may believe the concept is excellent but are not sure, so they are terrified of being labelled silly for saying it in public.
