a current published estimating reference, price the material using the unit material

prices shown. Price the labor costs using the productivity factors from the reference

and current wage rates for the trades in your area. How do the labor costs calculated

from the local wage rates differ from those using the published unit labor prices? What

is the cause for the differences? Hint: What is included in the published costs?

2. Create a recap for the excavation and backfill in exercise 2 of Chapter 7. Price the work

similar to exercise 1 above.

3. Perform assembly checks at the bottom of the recaps created in exercises 1 and 2. U
