DESCRIPTION:

Assignment 1 - Type poster

Create a designer quote poster. Following up on your alphabet exercise, you will craft a poster

presenting a quote from a notable designer. You will use a mixture of your gathered letters

and the typeface Helvetica for your poster composition. You can only use up to half and no

less than three of the individual letters you have photographed.

You are required to consider your visual composition, use of colour, language and overall

presentation of the

quote's meaning through your design choices. You should explore the work of the chosen

designer and be inspired by his/her style, philosophy and manner of working. As a result, you

will produce an A3 size poster presenting the quote in an engaging and interesting way. You

are encouraged to experiment, take risks, and reflect the refine your overall composition.
