The first responder is the police or medical officer who first reaches the crime scene and prevents the changes that have taken place at the location (Chappell, 2019). He must protect the people and the victim at the crime scene. He quickly begins the treatment of the victim by giving him first aid and taking him quickly to the officer. He should analyze the whole scene by talking to the people nearby regarding when and how the crime happened. After taking the records, he should report them to the other police officers by using the radio or any other type of communication.
