Ethical issues in multicultural counseling include cultural discrimination, cultural bias, stereotypes, patient privacy and extent of the client to therapist relationship. From the standpoint of the assessment procedure, informed consent is one of the ethical concerns in counseling. When someone expresses their approval after being thoroughly informed about the exam, they are expressing their understanding (Kabir, 2017). Informed consent's main goal is to provide the counselor with the information they need to decide whether to take part in the test. If anyone who participates is distressed in any way, more information should be given. Online counseling is one of the ethical problems with counseling from a technological standpoint. The utilization of virtual reality, augmented reality, intelligent wearable technology, and artificial intelligence applications are all possible in the practice of online psychotherapy, which reflects the quick development of technology (Kabir, 2017). These technologies are not covered in this evaluation since they are still in the early stages of development. The current evaluation covers online psychotherapy provided by psychologists, social workers, and psychiatrists. Because of the disparities in their educational backgrounds and the legal limitations on the extent of their job, nurses are not included.
